CONVENTION SEMINARS
NEW THIS YEAR! A Scribe
and Ring Stewarts seminar will
be held on Wednesday, February
17th from 1:00pm to
5:00pm. ARHA Judges Eddie Smith
and John Ed Tabb will cover all
your questions about completing,
reading, and understanding score
sheets as well as the basic
importance of them. They will
also discuss the criteria of a
Ring Stewart and all their
duties. To make our shows an
even greater success we
encourage all Charter Reps, Show
Managers, and Show Secretaries
to attend this seminar. If you
would like to attend please
complete the seminar form and
mail in by the deadline.
The SHOW MANAGEMENT/SHOW
SECRETARY SEMINAR will be
held on Friday, February the 19th.
This year’s seminar will feature
guest speaker Vanessa Crowe, an
accomplished horsewoman of 35
years. Vanessa will present a
planning venue on showcasing
horses to the public and a
presentation on “Successful
Horse Shows.” Jane Moulton will
provide us with a “hands-on”
session covering the ARHA Show
Results Program. This will be an
interactive session so we
strongly encourage you to bring
your laptop Excel ready. Also
during this session we will
discuss all aspects of ARHA
approved shows: Responsibilities
of show secretaries, managers,
stewarts, arena crew, staff,
contracting and coordinating
judges, reserving and planning
facilities, Exhibitor needs,
volunteer and paid staff, as
well as marketing.
We
encourage all Show Managers,
Show Secretaries, and Charter
Reps to take advantage of these
opportunities. Come ask
questions and gain powerful
knowledge to help make your ARHA
Approved Shows the GREATEST
SHOW ON EARTH!
