APPLICATION FOR ARHA AMATEUR CARD

 

* Annual fee of $10.00 must accompany this application.

* ALL AMATEURS MUST BE CURRENT MEMBERS OF ARHA.

* Exhibitors in this division must be 19 years of age or older and must not have engaged in any activities during the past 5 calendar years which would make them professionals.

HAVE YOU IN THE PAST FIVE (5) CALENDAR YEARS, RECEIVED REMUNERATION OR BARTER FOR THE FOLLOWING:
1.  Riding, showing in halter, training, schooling,driving or conditioning/fitting an equine? YES NO
2.  Giving instruction in equitation or horse training for horse or rider? YES NO
3.  Conducting clinics or seminars related to #1 or #2 above? YES NO

4.  Using his/her name, photograph or other form of personal association as a horseman in connection with any advertisement, video, book, and/or written article to be sold pertaining to #1, #2, #3 above?

5.  Holding a judge’s card with any equine organization? YES NO
6.  Judging open or 4-H shows for remuneration for barter, directly or indirectly? YES NO

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions you do NOT qualify to be a ARHA Amateur.

 

STATEMENT OF AMATEUR ELIGIBILITY

In submitting this application or renewal of my ARHA Amateur card, I hereby affirm that the information contained on my original application is true and correct

and that I have not engaged in any activities that would make me ineligible for the ARHA Amateur program. I understand that my status in the ARHA

Amateur program and my ARHA Amateur card is revocable. Should the Association find that, for any reason, I am no longer eligible to compete ARHA approved

amateur classes, I agree to surrender said card to the Association immediately upon request. Furthermore, should I, for any reason, become ineligible to compete

as an Amateur, I will refrain from exhibiting in the corresponding classes, and will voluntarily notify ARHA of the change in my Amateur status postmarked

within 14 days of said change. Failure to comply with any of the above terms or any general Association rules as listed in the ARHA Hand Book could result

in disciplinary action.
