Amateur High Point  Reserve Amateur Versatility

Delza Noble and Docs Chili Breeze

2000 gelding double Doc Bar bred.

History
Delza  and “Chili” have won the Amateur High Point three times!! Delza adds, “and I hope we keep on!”   Chili is awful special because he is home grown, “I pulled him out of his mama when he was born”.

Thoughts on winning this award
Delza says winning the High point this time was perhaps more special than the first time.  “The competition gets tougher every year.  It went right down to the last class this year.  It takes a horse that’s pretty good at everything- that’s why I like it and keep coming back.”

Events competed in:
Delza says he showed in everything but the cutting, reining and the working cow horse.

Special memories:
“I helped my buddy Ty Batson in the Heading, I heeled for him and he won and that really tickled me.   He told me went we went in there I’d better not miss!”  He adds,   “We enjoy everybody that we show with, that’s what we like about it.”

Future Plans
Delza says “I hope to win it again next year- or at least be there and try.  He’s an awful good horse and he has a lot left in him.”
