Peppy Little Sporty is a 2000 gelding by Haidas Tari out of a Wimpy bred mare
History
“Sport” was trained strictly a cutting horse when he was purchased as a six year old.
With the help of Julie and Delza Noble, Sport learned to rope events as well as other Ranch Horse Events. Daniel says he is a laid back and relaxed horse.
Thoughts on winning this award:
Daniel is quick to credit others for his success. He says Billy Prather gave the horse a great start and did a large part of the early training on Sport. “I’d really like to thank Delza and Julie Noble for all their help putting the finishing touches on the roping and finding all of Sports buttons. Also my parents, Mark and Dottie Sue helped me the whole way.”
Events competed in:
Daniel says he went in all the youth classes except ranch riding and reining- but adds if it had a cow in it- he showed in it!
Special memories:
Daniel says, “I had a blast the whole time!”
Future plans:
Daniel plans to train horses and to keep showing Sport.
