2007 World Show Youth Versatility Winner

Samantha Knight and CJ Poco Jeff

Sam is 11 and CJ Poco Jeff is a 1998 gelding by Cowboy Joe out of Kings Poco Cheerah.

History of CJ Poco Jeff
“Tex” was purchased from Tex and Debbie Nelson.    When asked to describe his personality, Sam simply replies, “He’s a horse.  He’s helped learn a lot, he is a great baby sitter or husband horse”.

Thoughts on winning these awards:
Sam says it was special because “winning the high point youth and versatility award has been a goal since I started riding”

Events competed in:
Sam laughs and says, “It would be easier to remember what we DIDN”T show in.  We showed in all the youth classes but the two man team sorting and heading and heeling.”

Special memories from the World Show:
Sam says she had so much fun with her friends.  “One night we drove around the campsite by arena B in a golf cart and woke everyone up- then the cart stalled!!”

Future plans:
Sam says she just wants to keep showing
