  • How long does the registration process usually take?

 
Please allow 2-3 weeks for the registration process.
*You will receive a "Certificate of Eligibilty" for your horse.
*You will be required to present the certificate or a copy of the certificate at all ARHA shows and events.

*If you are not currently a member of ARHA, you will also need to send in your ARHA membership application and fees.

  • What do I need to send to transfer the horse?

 

You will need to send the original ARHA Certificate Of Eligibilty, completed ARHA tranfer application signed by the seller (recorded legal owner of the horse) and buyer with the date of sale and submit proper fees.

  • How do I obtain a membership?
 

You can join online at JOIN  ARHA
- You can request a form to mail or fax phone:

- You can take the completed form to your next ARHA show
 

  • What is in my membership packet?
 

You will receive your membership card, amateur or youth cards (if applied for), rulebook, ARHA Decal and   ARHA quarterly copy of magazine "Riding The Range" (one per household).

  • Do I have to be a member of the American Ranch Horse Association to show my horse?

 

- At ARHA sanctioned shows,the exhibitor as well as the the owner of the horse must be a member.

- To compete in Amateur or Youth events the exhibitor must also hold a card in these division as well as a current family or individual membership.

  • Open Division Riders must carry an individual or family membership.

  • Family Membership includes person requesting membership,his/her spouse and childen 18 & under.

  • Individual Membership are restricted to one person.

  • Amateur Riders must have an individual Amateur membership or a family membership with an amateur card. (Must submit an amateur application)

  • Youth Riders must have a Youth Membership or family membership with a youth card. (must submit a Youth Application).

  • How do I find out about my Amateur status?
 

-If you have applied for an Amateur Membership card your status will be located on your membership card.
- If you have applied for a Family Membership you will receive a seperate Amateur Division card (if applied for).

 

  • Do I need to take my membership card with me when I participate in a ARHA show?
 

- Yes, you required to present your membership, amateur or youth card or a copy of these cards when you enter ARHA approved classes.

 

  • When I join how long is my card good for?
 

- ARHA memberships run calendar year January 1- December 31
 

  • Where do I get the Forms
