Sponsoring an ARHA Approved Show or Event


Any ARHA individual member or organization may host a show or event

Steps to gaining ARHA approval for your sanctioned show:

  1. Verify available show dates by e-mailing the office at:
    arhacontact.com or calling 606-636-4112 or 606-271-2963.
  2. You will need to request a Show Approval Form and approved Judges list.
    -Judges cannot judge two shows within 150 of each other within 30 days.
    -Shows may be single or double judged and may also offer split/combined shows
  3. Prepare a show bill or premium list to be submitted with your show application (non-refundable).
    -All shows approved by ARHA shall be named, advertised and listed and otherwise referred to as Ranch Horse Show and must state that they are "ARHA Approved".
    -Please check current ARHA rule book for minimum requirements and Approved Classes and Class Codes.
    -All ARHA approved shows and/or events must be conducted by ARHA rules.
  4. Submit your application with applicable fees to:

  5. Once your show has been approved, the show secretary will be notified and sent additional information and show packet needed to host the show.
  6. Fee Schedule: per show/judge
    - APPLICATION SUBMITTED 120 day or more prior to the show date $25.00/judge/day or $45.00 for Split/Combined plus $20 (madatory) Show Bill Posting fee
    - APPLICATION SUBMITTED 119 - 90 days $50.00 plus $20 (mandatory) Show Bill Posting Fee
    *To avoid late fees, submit you application at least 120 days prior to your desired show date.
  7. Show Dates will be posted on the ARHA Calendar of Events page in Quarterly Magazine
    "Riding The Range" as well as on website's event page. Show bill or show premium must be emailed to:
    arhacontact@aol.com in a Microsoft document or PDF format.
